fears, failing, mostly not being good enough not achieving her dreams not having enough time to achieve her dreams
boggart, fainee's boggart is probably one of her secrets, she's usually pretty embarassed about it. but embarassment aside, Fainee's boggart would have to be one of her teachers handing her her NEWTS with all Trolls. though her boggart tends to fluctuate between that and anything else she happens to fear failing at at the current time. OWLS, NEWTS, getting a date somewhere, anything.
amortenia, a love potion for a heartless romantic is a puzzling one indeed, fainee's topnotes consist of a rich designer perfume, and a fleeting touch of fresh parchment, coming off as sharp and indifferent, but then that fades into a deeper, lasting sandalwood and amber, and the lofty glance of rose, sensual and deep, almost sexual, totally and pleasantly unexpected
erised, fainee would invision herself as the head of the ministry of magic, in posession of a plethora of prestigious awards, and posessing a published novel of her own, and perhaps a boy too. perhaps.
dementor evoked memory, fae's dementor evoked memory was when she was seven, and she witnessed a horrible muggle car accident, it was the first time she'd ever seen a dead person, and it has always haunted her.
you are waiting for the world to fall, because only then can you truely be the last one standing
hair, rich chocolate brown eyes, brown portrayed by, leighton meester
distinguishing features, Fainee's facial features are unique for a girl, her eyes quite stoic, and her lips full and almost heavy looking, but the result of the two is strikingly beautiful. She has a somewhat larger than normal sized freckle on her left cheek that stands out, but other than that what Fainee is really noticed for is her obscenely dramatic, high fashion clothing and the fact that she wears heels everywhere, no matter how casual the place.
looks are everything , Fae’s fine breeding blessed her with striking features traditional to her Welsh roots. There is no mistaking her heritage, though, most students know her by her cold, arrogant features than her last name. Unlike the ethereal beauty of the air headed IT girls or her admirable best friends, Fae’s features are dark, pale skin offset by dark hair and dark, distant eyes. Yet, there is no denying her beauty, cold and haughty as it may be—she cuts a striking image wherever she goes, and she uses it to her full advantage
Fae is slightly on the tall side at 5’6’’ and a half, and is built thin, but not in the least bit delicate. Her strong personality makes her seem solid—an impressive force, even for one so slight of frame. Her body language is subtle, and has a unique grace to it that is very Fainee. Her torso is a bit on the short side, but no one really notices because her legs seem to go on for ages, one of her finer features. She has impressively small feet, though she hates when people call them “cute.” She also hates when people refer to the symmetrical dimples on her lower back as “cute”. Lets get this straight. Nothing about her is “cute” in the least—she’s beautiful but frightening, striking but cold.
Her hair is a dark glossy brown, so dark it almost looks black, save for when in the sun, where the true undertones of brown shine through. It’s naturally thick and shiny, falling straight down to her upper-mid back, though she usually wears it in loose curls more often than not. Her hair naturally behaves well, and she does little to it aside from style it in various ways from day to day. The cut is nothing special, shorter layers around the face, the rest a single length save for a few wispy layers throughout. Despite it’s less than exciting cut, it is never boring. She always styles it impeccably, not a single strand of hair out of place, mostly adorning it with headbands, her favorite accessory.
Fainee’s eyes are the color of dark chocolate, dark and smooth. However they aren’t warm and soothing, like the words ‘dark chocolate’ might evoke. Rather, they are cold, harsh, and calculating, always elusive and hard to see though. Her eyes are no window to her soul, they are merely ways that she can express her dark self. The little makeup she wears only seems to darken them. Darker, thick lashes line her eyes, so dense that sometimes it looks like she is wearing eyeliner, even when she is not.
Her skin is a perfect porcelain, free, for the most part, of blemishes, and often statuesque, having the same coldness as the rest of her. Although every teenager has their little imperfections, Fainee has had pretty good skin for the most part. A light dusting of freckles has appeared on her shoulders, though no one would know it because she rarely shows them. During the summer she sometimes gets the faintest of glows, but for the most part remains pretty pale year-round. It’s never bothered her though. She’s completely comfortable in her skin, and everyone knows it.
Fae’s body language is very subdued, and she is often seen with her arms crossed, hip cocked to the side, feet a foot or so apart, and an “better than thou” look upon her face. Not saying she doesn’t smile. She can be very agreeable towards her close friends, and is an excellent flirt, though you wouldn’t necessarily suspect it. Most of her body language isn’t extravagant, she doesn’t bounce around when she’s excited, and she doesn’t usually squeal at anything. She’s just more calm and collected overall.
When she isn’t in her uniform, which she wears quite sensibly, perfectly ironed, and every bit in place, her clothing is clean cut, upscale, and classy. Fainee isn’t very “trendy” nor does she really ever know what is ‘in’ or ‘out’. She wears pearls and diamonds, skirts, sensible dresses, tights, blazers, cardigans, heels, and flats. Her fashion sense is timeless, and epitomizes her society chic upbringing.
Fainee’s appearance can be summed up in three words: striking, cold, and unexpectedly pretty. When you look at her at first, you might think she’s alright-looking, not gorgeous, but definitely not ugly. She’s the kind of girl that the more you watch, the prettier she becomes. A quick glance and she is easily dismissed. Her looks soften when she is happy and smiling, though it takes effort to get her to do so.
Overall Fae cuts a mean figure walking sashaying down the hallway, her uniform pristine, her ‘I-know-more-than-you-do’ smirk gracing her little plump lips, and her hair styled close to perfection. But one look at her and you can see there is more than just the pretty shell.

family members,
Isabella Lynh Victoire, How many cares one loses when one decides not to be something but to be someone.
relation, mother age, 42 career, fashion designer portrayed by, evangeline lily relationship, Fainee and her mother have almost a buisness contract of a relationship, a toxic love hate thing that hardly constitutes for love. Fainee's mother is constantly on her, "why can't you be more like so and so" "do you really want to eat that yogurt? how about an apple instead . . ." Fainee loathes her mother's criticism with a fervent passion, and usually avoids her like the plague, their interactions stiff and indifferent. But, every once in a while they find some common ground, a momentary truce, and they act like all mothers and little girls do. But those moments are far and inbetween, and Fainee doesn't ever really count on them being there or not being there, she's grown use to how their relationship functions, and she's moved on. It is a sore spot for her though, and has fueled most of her insecurities about herself and her outward appearance, bred most of her doubts. And it isn't like her mother is blatantly mean, either. It's those little side comments, those quips edged into converstation, that make Fainee feel like screaming and crying at the same time. It's one of her darker secrets, the root of her brokenness that she so sucessfully covers.
Sean Tegan Victoire, It doesn't matter who my father was; it matters who I remember he was.
relation, father age, 45 career, head of the department of mysteries portrayed by, guy pierce relationship, Though Fainee's parents separated, it hasn't stopped her from seeing her father at all, he always makes time in his scedule to go and see her, even if it means "forcing" her to tag along with him to the Ministry. Her father has always offered her a sort of shelter from her mother, though he'd never understood why Fainne was so attatched to him when her mother seemed so eager to be with her. He never questioned it, just loving the girl, giving her almost whatever she wanted, spoiling her to death. Fainee's favorite gift was a little kitten she still has today named "Cat", and her first string of freshwater pearls from France. Fae has a lot of fond memories with her father and spends most of the time at his place in England, rather than her mother's cold castle in Wales. Fainee and her father have the ideal relationship, though she does get a bit cross when he decides to make sure she follows rules: curfew, hours spent on her mTech, etc, as all teenagers do. She still gets angry at him, but only in her empassioned furies over trifle things.
detailed history, Sean grew up in Nantucket, a trust fund baby who lived the ultimate prep school lifestyle. After attending wizarding school in his hometown, he jetted off to New York to work for the American Ministry of Magic headquarters as an intern, then as part of the Department of Magical Catastrophes. Isabella was raised in the countryside of Wales, then shipped off to New York at the age of eighteen to go to attend college at the Pratt Institute. Working in the fashion industry, Isabella was able to pave a name for herself, opening up her own store on the Upper East Side. A few years down the road, the two met through a friend of a friend at a party, and fell for each other, hard, no questions asked. They began dating, but disaster would soon strike for the two of them: Isabella was pregnant. Pregnant with a girl they would come to call Fainee.
They jetted back to Wales for a hasty wedding, not telling Sean’s well to do family, and after eloping had a slightly more formal ceremony at Bella’s countryside estate. There was no honeymoon, as reality soon hit. Sean was important at the Ministry, and Isabella had a business to run—and a baby on the way. They couldn’t hide in Wales forever. After much discussion a solution was proposed: they would move to London, where Bella could open a new flagship store, and Sean could be transferred to the British Ministry of Magic. They moved thereafter, and had Fainee within six months of doing so.
Being juggled between two working parents wasn't the easiest thing for Fae, but it wasn't necessarily the worst thing for her. It was what bred in her her own ambition, her own drive. As a child she was mostly taken care of by a nanny, her parents taking over for the evening, and then the cycle repeated. From this she became exceedingly independent, content with only seeing her parents for part of the day. Her childhood was a happy one, filled with dolls and tea parties and proper ladylike activities that her mother would approve of. She was groomed within an inch of her life and bragged about constantly--the perfect only daughter. She never steppped out of line, never got in trouble, got glowing reports from everyone--she was the golden child if there ever was one.
She attended an all girl's private elementary school, where she continued to get glowing reports. She was top of her class, and was strong enough in personality to win over friends. She wasn't popular per say, but she definitely held her own. When she was ten, though, her life would change forever. She came home to suitcases packed and waiting by the door. Her immediate assumption had been a buisness trip or vacation. Nothing would have prepared her for what was to come next: her Mother was moving out and her parents were separating. For good. She would remain with her father until something could be figured out. Fae couldn't really comprehend what was going on. At first she thought it was her fault, but soon after she began to piece it all together: the fights, the hushed arguments, the avoiding one another, the stress engraved on her parents faces. They were too busy for one another, for them love no longer existed.
From then on Fae became a very distant, quiet girl, the precedent for who she is today. She was never quick to trust or to get attatched, not keeping to herself, but not opening up either. She made friends still, but no one ever dared mention the divorce-it's Fae's darkest memory. When she got her letter to Hogwarts she was estatic, and saw it as a way to escape. Her only way. She eagerly accepte and was shipped off the next fall. She was sorted into Ravenclaw, but if you ask Fae she still remembers how the hat sat on her head and debated, nearly placing her in Slytherin, but after some reasoning of her own she was placed in Ravenclaw, a house with a decent reputation and high standards, right up Fae's alley. Plus, Ravenclaw had a reputation for being the house of all things fair and beautiful, which only suited the naturally pretty girl more.
Fae's duration at Hogwarts has been enchanted, in more ways that one. She's made friends with the top of the class, being one herself. But Fainee's aversion to the showing of any feeling has also expanded, the girl being naturally quite cold and cutting. If sorted now, she probably would be put in Slytherin, save for her ocd factor when it comes to overacheiving. She's a paradox of a girl, and for the most part a mystery. She's rarely told anyone about the divorce, as she rarely tells anyone anything about herself, save for her select friends whom she truely trusts. Those are the people that know the true Fainee, mostly anways. The one that actually can be nice and giggly now and then. But overall most of the student body knows her as the cold, smart one. The younger years fear her--especially the girls, whom she is more than happy to tell off for so much as looking at her the wrong way.
As Fae enters her seventh and final year at Hogwarts she just hopes to have a smooth time, juggling all her classes and the drama that surrounds them. She isn't really into the dating thing much, a real boyfriend would only be a nuisance. But that's not saying that the right guy could wiggle past the icy exterior. It's been done before.
